How to exercise for beginners | Make it personal
If you are just starting to exercise or thinking about it. It can be very scary or confusing at times, but that is not necessary at all. If you are wondering what is exercise, that is covered in another post that introduces the idea of exercise and physical fitness. If you are at the early stages of exercising there are steps to follow if you want to make sure you start well and finish even better.
I also have an article about what exercise is and why it’s important you can have a read. That can also help explain and support your journey into exercise.
You may be reading and you either fall into one of these categories:
- You are completely new to exercise and want to figure out how to start the best way
- You exercised before either with the gym or something else and didn’t really like it so you stopped.
- You have had an on and off relationship with exercising or sports but want to get back into it.
Lucky for you, this is the right place to understand how you can get the best out of it and keep you on track and consistent with getting active. Because I don’t believe it should be a task or a chore when you want to get active. It should be something you enjoy and find joy in it.
With these 3 steps, your journey can be made easier and simpler because it is focused on personalizing your experience so that YOU can get the best out of exercise.
- Step 1- Picking an activity/exercise to start.
- Step 2- Repetition and progression of exercise
- Step 3-Execution and support during exercise
These 3 steps on exercise for beginners may seem easy and straightforward, which is how exercise is supposed to be, the main aim of getting into a healthy a lifestyle is that it should be clear and easy to get started
This is a Video about these 3 steps you can watch, made by Rooks Health.
